“Manaka Goes!” is a baseball program in which former Tokyo Yakult Swallows manager Manaka Mitsuru visits stadiums and surrounding facilities across the country to share the appeal of teams and stadiums with baseball fans. In addition to interviewing managers, coaches, and players, Manaka tours stadium facilities, enjoys gourmet food, and participates in stadium events, experiencing them firsthand, sharing his own unique “wandering trip” with viewers. Also, starting this season, we’ve been welcoming former team members as guests in special episodes. For the Chunichi Dragons episode, we toured stadiums with Kenshin Kawakami, for the Saitama Seibu Lions episode, we toured with GG Sato, and for the Orix Buffaloes episode, we toured with T-Okada. Following on from last year’s and the year before, the program’s open recording event, which was a huge success, has been scheduled for Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Shibuya Cultural Center Owada, 4th floor Sakura Hall. Tickets will go on sale from 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The event will include a talk show looking back on the program, a cross-talk with the cast, a venue-only raffle, and even a live singing performance, where “that legend” may make a reappearance. In addition to MC Mitsuru Manaka, former professional baseball player Ryota Igarashi and assistant host Yukimi Yamada, who appeared last year, will also be appearing. Furthermore, there are plans for appearances by other impressive guests, and details will be announced on the program’s official website. ■Manaka Mitsuru’s Comments Hello everyone.
