“The Bread Thief’s World’s Easiest Bread Recipes to Make with Kids” This is a fun and easy bread recipe book based on the popular “Bread Thief” picture book series, allowing children aged 3 and up to make bread. The first book, “The Bread Thief’s World’s Most Delicious Bread Recipes,” won the Children’s Book Award at the 10th Cookbook Awards, two years ago. Now, at the 12th annual Cookbook Awards, this second book has won the same award. ● A happy comment from Maiko Yoshinaga, chef I’m incredibly honored to receive this recognition once again. I’m truly grateful. Once again, I created cute characters from Shibata-sensei’s picture book out of bread. Since this work is aimed at children, I incorporated the method of baking bread using a plastic bag and a toaster, which I teach in my “Daily Bread Workshops” held at early childhood care facilities, making it even easier to make. Not only are the baked breads cute and delicious, but we also focused on creating recipes that make you think, “I could make this,” and “I want to do this again.” We hope you will continue to use this book as a fun way for parents and children to enjoy bread making together.
