Tournament/Kanto University League/Kansai University League All matches will be streamed on J SPORTS! Get a thorough broadcast of the most anticipated matches! Sports television station J SPORTS Inc. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ichiro Hase; hereinafter “J SPORTS” *1) will be broadcasting the Kanto University Rugby Tournament, which will begin on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th. This year, all 84 games from the Kanto University League, Kanto University League Division 1 (Kanto University League), and Kansai University League A (Kansai University League) will be streamed on the video streaming service “J SPORTS On Demand”*2, which can be viewed on PCs, smartphones, and tablets. In addition to broadcasting all Waseda University and Meiji University matches, we will also broadcast notable matches with live commentary.

The Kanto University Rugby League is a league packed with traditional schools. Attention is focused on Waseda University, which won last season with a perfect record, Teikyo University, which is currently on a four-year winning streak at the National University Championship, and Meiji University, which is hoping to revive its legacy. While the Kanto University League is a competitive arena, last season Daito Bunka University won, ending Tokai University’s six-game winning streak. This season, a fierce battle for the top spots is expected, centered around Daito Bunka University, Toyo University, and Tokai University. In the Kansai University League, attention will be focused on whether other universities can compete with the two strongest teams, Tenri University, last season’s champion, and Kyoto Sangyo University, a semi-finalist in the university championship.
