There’s also a giveaway campaign underway! The famous character from “Kitakita Torimonochō” (PHP Institute) also makes an appearance! The first volumes, “Bonkura (Volume 1) New Edition” and “Bonkura (Volume 2) New Edition,” are now on sale.

Published 25 years ago, Miyabe Miyuki’s masterpiece period mystery, “Bonkura,” has been republished in a new look by Kodansha Bunko on Friday, September 12th. The cover illustration for the new edition is by Kenji Miki, who is also known for his work on the popular “Kitakita Torimonochō” series. A famous character from “Kitakita Torimonochō” also appears in the work. Bonkura (Volume 1) New Edition and Bonkura (Volume 2) New Edition come with an original bookmark featuring the cover illustration.
