Short-Term Intensive Screenwriting Workshop VIPO Film Lab is looking for young film and video writers to participate in its “NY Screenwriting Workshop” (First wave). Script feedback for a select group of NY-based instructors / Period: December 2025 – March 2026 The Visual Industry Promotion Organization (VIPO), a nonprofit organization headquartered in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, is promoting the international distribution and international co-production of films. The organization operates the “VIPO Film Lab” with the aim of cultivating young filmmakers with international sensibilities and knowledge who will be active around the world.

Screenwriting Workshop” aims to raise the bar for Japanese film talent and promote overseas expansion. Led by instructors from Columbia University School of the Arts in New York, the workshop will offer short-term, hands-on screenwriting workshops in person and online for young Japanese filmmakers. (Consecutive Japanese-English

(approximately 5 sessions planned in total)】 ・Screenplay Lecture (In-person): Early December 2025 [2 Sessions Planned] *The first lecture will be open to the public, and you will be joined by approximately 30 other participants. (Those not selected this time will also be welcome to attend the open lecture.
