We also hold events that you can enjoy with your children. Every month, we introduce “Ocean Books” selected by Tsutaya Bookstore concierges. We’ll be holding an event at
Futakotamagawa Tsutaya Electrics, where you can experience a real bookstore experience while the concierges explain how to choose books. 3710Lab (Minato Lab, Representative Director: Kodai Taguchi), a general incorporated association, implements marine education and design programs with the aim of shaping the future of “coexistence between the ocean and humans.” In collaboration with the concierge at Tsutaya Bookstore, we have released a book selection project, “Bookshelf of the Sea, on Marine Day. In addition, we will be holding a related event, “Let’s Make a Seaside Bookstore” BOOK HUNTING in Futako Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics (September 23rd, 2025 and October 25th, 2025). We are currently accepting applications for participants.

They will receive guidance from a Tsutaya Bookstore concierge on how to choose a book, then participate in a “sea book hunt” in which they search for books about the ocean. They will also create POP displays based on the books’ contents and display them on the shelves. We look forward to your participation. Date and Time | ◯ Day 1 ・Tuesday, September 23, 2025 (National Holiday) 12:00-15:00 In this “Ocean Book Hunting” event, participants will search for and select ocean-related books that interest them in bookstores. ◯Day 2 ・Saturday, October 25, 2025, 12:00-15:00
Participants will read the book they selected on Day 1 and complete a worksheet. Based on their work, they will make a presentation together and experience making POP displays to display in bookstores. ※Participation on both days is required.
