The exterior also features a luxurious Santos Gloss finish befitting a special edition. Santos Gloss finish with 12 coats of clear lacquer 707 Prestige The 707 Prestige Edition features a luxurious Santos Gloss finish, with 12 coats of clear lacquer applied to a thick, high-density MDF enclosure with a beautiful wood grain veneer. While the standard 700 Series gloss black finish requires nine coats of clear lacquer, the 707 Prestige Edition goes even further, with 12 carefully applied coats, achieving a deeper, more beautiful, and lustrous luster. The difference in the thickness of the paint coating also affects the sound. The 707 Prestige Edition’s sound is clear and deep, befitting its exceptional appearance. High-aperture grille mesh, same as the 800 Series Signature New speaker terminals feature the same high-quality brass core as the 700 Series Signature. To ensure a cleaner signal flow to the speakers, the 705 S3 Signature features new speaker terminals made with the same high-quality brass core as the 702 S3 Signature and 705 S3 Signature. These special finishes and parts refine not only the high frequencies but also the mid- and low-range sounds, achieving a high level of balance across all ranges of sound—clearness, intelligibility, thickness of the sound image, spatial expression—that is essential to musical expression, resulting in a sound worthy of the Prestige Edition name.
