(President and CEO: Tsuyoshi Hasegawa), publisher of Sports Hochi, will be holding a signing event with illustrator U35 (Umiko) on Sunday, September 28th, at the Hochi Entertainment Market Ikebukuro branch on the third floor of Ikebukuro P’PARCO. Sports Hochi is currently selling “TABLOID MIKU,” an art book featuring virtual singer Hatsune Miku (regular edition 3,900 yen, tax included). The book compiles original illustrations by 29 illustrators submitted for the “Hatsune Miku Special Issue,” a tabloid magazine that Hochi has been producing since 2014. The charm of Hatsune Miku, embodied in the artists’ unique and varied touches, has captivated countless fans. On the 28th of this month, a signing event with U35, one of the popular artists featured in the book, will be held at the Hochi Entertainment Market Ikebukuro branch. The event is open to purchasers of “TABLOID MIKU.” By purchasing the book at the store on the day, or bringing your own copy if you’ve already purchased it, you can have U35 sign one of the pages featuring his illustrations (one of two).
Reservations are required for the event, with the first part starting at 2:00 PM and the second part starting at 3:00 PM. Those wishing to participate should access the official website via the QR code and fill out the required information on the application form on the site to apply.
