JVCKENWOOD Corporation will begin streaming the music video for “Andantino,” a song created at a music co-creation event with Yuko Suzuhana, on YouTube™ starting today. The song “Andantino” was produced by Yuko Suzuhana, with music creators participating in the recording at Victor Studio. In addition to Yuko Suzuhana, vocals are featured by ukulele player Koume, and music production was also handled by Makoto Sakuramura (Machiya). The music video was also filmed with the participation and cooperation of students from Shonan Music High School and Tokyo School of Music & Dance.

Music production usually involves a large number of people, which poses a significant hurdle, but this system makes it easy to get involved, and I feel that even people who think of themselves as “only listeners” can experience the true essence of music, which is “enjoying sound.” Compiling everyone’s ideas was a difficult task, but it was a valuable opportunity to encounter new ideas and perspectives that I would not have come up with on my own. The music video was also shot in a style never before seen, and seeing everyone enjoying themselves brought me great joy. Also, I believe that by actually releasing a song, aspiring musicians were able to gain valuable knowledge about copyright, which is unavoidable when working in music. I hope that even those hearing this song for the first time will enjoy it as a work born in a new form.
