Collection” and “Van Gogh’s Drawbridge and the Impressionists from the Wallraf-Richartz Museum Collection”! Abeno Harukas Art Museum hosts a wide variety of exhibitions, including Japanese art, Western art, and contemporary art. In 2025, following the “Tezuka Osamu: Black Jack Exhibition” from Saturday, September 27th to Sunday, December 14th, “Secret Beauty: Everything about Komura Setei” will be held from Saturday, December 27th to Sunday, March 1st, 2026. (As previously reported. See the attached sheet for details.) Following the above exhibition, we are pleased to announce that the following two new exhibitions have been scheduled. We will continue to operate the museum as an even more appealing urban art museum, attracting more visitors. “Brooklyn Museum Collection Special Exhibition Ancient Egypt” Meeting period: March 20th, 2026 (Friday/holiday) to June 14th, 2026 (Sunday) Co-sponsored by: Brooklyn Museum, Asahi Shimbun, Toei, Yomiuri Television Planning cooperation: Nippon Television Network Event Objective: Through approximately 150 artifacts, including sculptures, coffins, jewelry, pottery, earthenware, papyrus, and human and cat mummies, we will unravel the activities of the people who created a sophisticated culture beyond our imagination. We will also use video and audio to introduce everything from “facts you think you know but don’t” to pyramid research using the latest technology.

“Van Gogh’s Drawbridge and Impressionist Painters, Wallraf-Richartz Museum Collection” Dates: Saturday, July 4, 2026 – Wednesday, September 9, 2026 Co-organizers: Sankei Shimbun, Kansai Telecasting Purpose: This exhibition will showcase 70 works by 42 masters of the Impressionist movement, including Monet, Renoir, and Pissarro, drawn from the rich collection of the Wallraf-Richartz Museum/Cologne Foundation in Germany. One of the highlights of the exhibition is Van Gogh’s Drawbridge, a prominent work in the post-Impressionist movement.
