Black Petrol, a nerdy and hardcore musical group influenced by a variety of musical genres, with a focus on Black music, will release their first new single since their new formation, “TURN.” Black Petrol focuses on the relationship between jazz and electronic music in the current UK scene, fusing it with their own unique interpretation of club floor sounds while diligently creating music that is in sync with their live performances. Their new single, “TURN,” marks their first release under the new lineup and is divided into two parts: “TURN I” and “TURN II.” “TURN I” features a solid, fast-paced, drum and bass-style track incorporating live instruments, topped with powerful lyrics about “From Kyoto, the band’s hometown, to the world.” The beat then changes to a dark, post-dubstep style, seamlessly transitioning into “TURN II,” which explores the band’s journey as they embark on a new journey.
