This distinctive, angular design was born in 1980 from the
collaboration between the late guitar genius Randy Rhoads and Jackson brand founder Grover Jackson, and was created to fulfill Randy’s pursuit of ultimate performance. It delivers bold, ferocious tone with USA-made Seymour Duncan® JB and ’59 humbucking pickups, a reverse-six in-line headstock, and a signature offset Rhoads alder body. Precisely crafted at Jackson’s Corona, California, factory, the American Series Rhoads are assembled with the finest materials and parts, including an alder body, a three-piece maple neck with neck-through construction, and a 12-16 inch compound radius ebony fingerboard with jumbo stainless steel frets. Following on from the Soloist™ and Virtuoso™ models, this model further expands the American Series and further demonstrates Jackson’s commitment to supporting artists in the pursuit of high-performance music with uncompromising quality. Randy’s dramatic guitar solos, combining classical theory and aesthetics with the explosive power of rock, established the template for metal guitar playing and continue to influence generations to come. This USA-made guitar retains that essential Rhoads DNA and is designed for the ultimate in technical playing. John Romanowski, Head of Product Development at Jackson, said: “The American Series Rhoads were born to bring the legendary shape coveted by metal guitarists for decades to a new generation. Crafted in the USA, the home of the Jackson brand, they’re designed for players who demand uncompromising tone and performance.” The American Series Rhoads are available in two models: the RR24 and the RR24 HT, with the main difference being the bridge design. • The “RR24” features a 1500 Series Floyd Rose® double locking tremolo system built into the body, providing rock-solid tuning stability even with extreme arm-bending techniques. Available colors include Matte Army Drab, Satin Black, and Snow White. • The RR24 HT features a Hipshot hardtail bridge, ensuring exceptional tuning stability while also making string changes and drop tuning quick and easy. Available in Snow White and Satin Black. Campaign video for this model (

high-quality specs and hardware, and modern updates. Elements like the spoke wheel truss rod, push-in tremolo arm, stainless steel Floyd Rose, luminous side dots, and locking tuners all offer great convenience for the technical musician. My matte olive drab model feels and looks amazing.” Jeff Loomis also said: “This American Series Rhoads is an incredible high-performance masterpiece. Its aggressive looks and exceptional playability across the entire neck make it truly stand out. It was a great experience teaming up with Jackson again and showcasing this guitar with Brandon Ellis.” [Product photo] Image
