You’ll learn about the history of the Gekijyo Theater, the hall’s features, and behind-the-scenes stories only theater staff know. The tour route changes each time depending on the hall’s usage, but each tour is packed with attractions, including the hard aspects of the building, such as the architecture and stage mechanisms, as well as the soft aspects of the performances and concerts that are staged, as well as the art pieces displayed throughout the building and outside. Tour Guide Guidance Your tour will be led by tour guides who are passionate about theater. They will use their expertise and individuality to convey the charm of the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre. You’ll walk around the building with us, enter empty auditoriums to understand how the hall works, and hear from the people involved in its creation. We’ll help you discover new charms of theater and feel closer to it. When you join us, feel free to ask any questions you have.
