BAUM, a skin and mind brand with the theme of “coexistence with trees” (manufactured and sold by Shiseido), will be exhibiting at MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL (MYAF), one of Japan’s largest art festivals, from Friday, October 10th to Monday, October 13th, 2025, to commemorate the release of the limited-edition “Oak Forest” eau de toilette and hand cream, which will be released on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025. The theme is “BAUM OAK FOREST – The Fragrance Cycle of the Oak Forest.” Inspired by the “BAUM Oak Forest”* located in Iwate Prefecture, this fall’s limited-edition fragrance, “Oak Forest,” is accompanied by a glimpse of the BAUM forest scenery captured by mountain collector Yuka Suzuki, who collaborated on the packaging design—red-tinted tree leaves, fallen leaves and acorns that create rich soil—allowing you to experience the beautiful cycle of the forest, feeling as if you’ve stepped into the forest. During the event, we will be selling the limited-edition “Oak Forest” product at our booth, as well as distributing a limited number of “BAUM Oak Forest” postcard sets collected by Suzuki. * BAUM upcycles furniture scraps made from oak, native to the Tohoku region, to manufacture wooden parts for its product packaging. As a life’s work, he travels to mountains both in Japan and abroad, documenting his travel experiences through photography, product creation, and writing. “MOUNTAIN COLLECTOR” (2016-present) is a project that turns mountain scenery into handkerchiefs.
