I never thought I’d be able to voice a character in this new spin-off, so I’m very happy. Takagiri is an original character from “Nohara Hiroshi’s Lunch Style,” so I thought it would be up to me. At first, I thought he seemed a little suspicious (laughs). He’s too much of a “nice kid.” But as I played the role, I realized that was his true self. I’m really happy to have been able to get a glimpse of Hiroshi’s family life, which isn’t seen in the anime, and to be able to appear as part of Hiroshi’s world.
