He began studying oil painting at the age of 5 and attended Kyoto City University of Arts at the age of 11. Studied under the artist Koichi Kawabata, a lecturer at the Kyoto University of Arts. Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Sagano High School. Studied at the Sorbonne, the Louvre Institute, and the Paris Institute of Antiques, among others. Since 2006, he has given art lectures in Belgium organized by the “Painting Society” for nine years. He is a former official guide at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium and a former visiting professor at Kyoto Saga University of Arts. He gives more than 20 art lectures a year in Japan and Europe, contributing to cultural exchange between Japan and Europe. He has given six lectures sponsored by the Belgian Embassy in Japan. In 2016, he was invited to a state banquet at the Royal Palace when the King of Belgium visited Japan. Since 2018, he has been actively giving lectures on Western art history across Japan. He is also the chairman of the Japan-Europe Palace Art Association. School Characteristics and History Since its founding, Chikamori Hospital Nursing School has been committed to cultivating “nurses with generous humanity and high practical skills,” and has produced talented individuals who contribute to regional medical care.
