The JAF Shiga Branch (Branch Chief: Norimichi Sato) will be holding special viewing events at Kanpokan (Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture) on Sunday, October 12th and at MIHO MUSEUM (Koga City, Shiga Prefecture) on Sunday, November 16th. ■Kanpokan ~Special Art Exhibition with a Curator~ Kanpokan, a museum that explores the culture of calligraphy, is holding a special exhibition, “Letters from Wang Xizhi,” to
commemorate its 30th anniversary. This is a rare opportunity to view Chinese calligraphy, designated national treasures and important cultural properties, up close and to deeply appreciate the appeal of calligraphy with commentary from curators.
