MFS to release third EP “3” on Wednesday, September 24th — With this latest release, they will embark on their first nationwide tour, “MFS 1st tour -2025” to be held Rapper MFS has announced that he will release his third EP, “3” (pronounced “san”), on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. MFS attracted attention with his first full-length album, “COMBO,” in 2024, and has since established his presence through numerous appearances at major festivals and guest appearances. This newly released EP, “3,” is his latest work, showcasing his further evolution, incorporating elements of bass music and electronic music while still centered around hip-hop. Several producers active both in Japan and abroad participated in this album. Kyoto-based Naco, known for her mutant techno sound influenced by bass, breaks, and electro, produced “Offline” and “Espa,” offering cutting-edge tracks that intertwine rap and electronic sounds. Stones Taro’s “Don’t,” featuring a light beat reminiscent of UK garage and house, heated up the venue as a summer anthem. “Mind,” produced by Okayama-based producer Keita Sano, creates an emotionally charged winter sound with a deep house backdrop. Furthermore, the latest single, “AGA,” features Dayzero’s dubstep-inspired heavy bass and sharp beats, embodying an aggressive, contemporary club sound. “Combo Remix” features backing DJ RUI HAYAKAWA and Taihei, reconstructing the original track for club floors. Mastering was handled by Stuart Hawkes of London’s Metropolis Studios, known for his work with Adele and Charli XCX. All six tracks are finished with world-class sound, resulting in a work that marks MFS’s current state. Pre-add/Pre-save for the EP “3” is available from today, and will be available on various streaming services from Wednesday, September 24th. In addition, MFS will embark on their first nationwide tour, “MFS 1st tour -2025,” to coincide with the release of their EP “3.” Kicking off with a performance in Tokyo on Wednesday, October 22nd, the tour will visit four cities, including Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, providing a rare opportunity to experience MFS’s current state in the intimate atmosphere of a live music venue. Her ever-evolving live performances, transcending genres and formats, are sure to leave a strong impression as a next-generation icon.
