Eikichi Yazawa made his solo debut in 1975 after disbanding the rock band “Carol.” Since his solo debut, he has achieved numerous milestones, including becoming the oldest artist to reach No. 1 on the Oricon album charts and successfully holding his first live concert with an audience at the New National Stadium. This year, 2025, marks the 50th anniversary of his debut. At 76 years old, Yazawa is attempting to break new records. To commemorate his 50th anniversary, he will be holding an anniversary concert, “EIKICHI YAZAWA LIVE in TOKYO DOME ‘Do It! YAZAWA 2025’,” at Tokyo Dome on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th.
