ABEMA, the new TV of the future, is hosting “EIKICHI YAZAWA LIVE in TOKYO DOME “Do It! YAZAWA”,” an anniversary live show celebrating the 50th anniversary of rock musician Eikichi Yazawa’s debut. We have decided to live stream “2025” on Abema Pay-Per-View starting at 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Viewing tickets for this stream will go on sale starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025. Eikichi Yazawa made his solo debut in 1975 after disbanding the rock band Carol. Since his solo debut, Eikichi Yazawa has achieved numerous milestones, including becoming the oldest artist to reach No. 1 on the Oricon album charts and successfully holding his first live concert with an audience at the New National Stadium. And now, celebrating his 50th anniversary since his debut, 76-year-old Eikichi Yazawa is attempting a new record. To commemorate his 50th anniversary, he will be holding an anniversary concert, “EIKICHI YAZAWA LIVE in TOKYO DOME “Do It! YAZAWA 2025,” at Tokyo Dome. This special concert, taking place on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th, will tie Paul McCartney for the world’s oldest solo concert at Tokyo Dome, making Eikichi Yazawa, at 76 years old, the oldest Japanese artist to perform there. This truly marks a new record. Tickets for the two-day concert, which is expected to attract 100,000 people, sold out immediately after they went on sale. In response to numerous requests to see the Tokyo Dome concert, it has been decided that the November 8th (Saturday) concert will be livestreamed on “ABEMA PPV.” Be sure to tune in to “ABEMA” to experience the moment when Eikichi Yazawa’s new legend is carved into his memory. Tickets for this broadcast will go on sale (※1) on “ABEMA PPV” from 6:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025. Tickets can be purchased for 4,400 yen (tax included) and can be viewed (※2).
