Yokohama|https://transcender.jp/yokohama ■Concept “REVIVE: A hotel that revitalizes people, sensibilities, and the city.” Since the opening of Yokohama Port in 1859, Yokohama Chinatown has developed in its own unique way by accepting and blending people and cultures from diverse countries. Overcoming numerous challenges, including air raids and earthquakes, the town has been able to recover thanks to its ability to adapt to the times, adapting foreign cultures to suit Japanese tastes, and empowering visitors. TRAN.SCENDER(R) HÔTEL reinterprets these forces that still live in the town, aiming to become a new tourist hub for Yokohama Chinatown, “reviving the good old days, inspiring new sensibilities, and restoring the mind and body.”

Using the same cooking method, they recreate the classic “Honey Roast Pork” dish from YAUMAY, a dim sum specialty restaurant in Marunouchi, Tokyo. The pork is marinated in a secret sauce and grilled using a unique method. By slowly grilling it at high temperatures in a special oven, the outside is fragrant and the inside is moist with juices locked in, resulting in a harmonious blend of sweetness and umami, which has earned it high praise from a wide range of customers. https://cha-shu-may.com/ ■ “TOJI SAUNA” – A hot spring mist sauna to restore body and mind The basement floor is home to “TOJI SAUNA,” a private wellness space exclusively for guests.
