(headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter CCP) to begin licensing the Japanese teen magazines “Nicola” and “Nico☆Puchi” in Korea. ■ What is CCP (Creative Contents Promotion)? CCP (Creative Contents Promotion) was founded by CEO Tomoo Oishi, who has a proven track record in a variety of entertainment fields, including music, fashion, and sports. Oishi began his career in the music industry as a teenager, working on sound and bookings for domestic and international artists. He later expanded his activities into the fashion and sports fields. In 2003, he founded MISSION GROUP, Inc., and formed a business partnership with the UK-based Premier Model Management. Since then, he has realized numerous cross-border projects, including film, commercial, and fashion brand promotions, as well as international talent agency work. ■ First Step in the Korean Market As the first step in this
partnership, Shinchosha and CCP has partnered with K-TIGERS, a company immensely popular and trusted in Korea, to enter into a licensing agreement for “Nicola” and “Nico☆Puchi” in Korea. K-TIGERS is also known as the production team behind “K-POP Girls! Demon Hunters,” a hit series that surpassed “Squid Game,” the all-time Netflix record-breaking hit, and has garnered significant support, especially from Korea’s Alpha Generation. In South Korea, the influence of digital content on young people is growing year by year, and discovering and nurturing the next generation of talent to lead fashion and culture has become a social challenge.
