SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Eiichi Yonekura; hereinafter “SKY Perfect JSAT”), together with Overs Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Jun Okuaki) and Animax Broadcast Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Masao Takiyama), have jointly produced a short drama starring WHITE SCORPION, the next-generation idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto. The drama will be streamed free of charge on social media starting later this year. This marks WHITE SCORPION’s first full-fledged drama appearance, and is a noteworthy work that combines the three elements of acting, storytelling, and social responsibility. Ahead of full-scale filming, acting lessons for the members have also begun. With many of them still in their acting beginner years, special programs to enhance their expressive abilities are scheduled for Monday, September 29th and Wednesday, October 8th. The process of honing their acting skills, which differs from previous activities and includes training in acting, on-camera behavior, and emotional expression, is another highlight of this project. The completed short drama will begin streaming on the official TikTok account this year, and is also scheduled to air on the anime channel “Animax.” The story is designed to highlight the members’ charms more vividly as it unfolds. As a unique endeavor for WHITE SCORPION, who continue to take on new challenges in the entertainment and social media fields, this is likely to attract interest not only from fans but also from a wide range of viewers, especially those from Gen Z. Under the careful guidance of their coaches, each member has overcome their nervousness and confusion and is steadily undergoing change.
