Kawasaki Ginryu Street Commercial Cooperative Association Press release: September 24, 2025 We are looking for participants for the Kawasaki Hyakki Yagyo Yokai Costume Contest at the Kawasaki Station Festival on October 25th! We are looking for participants for the Kawasaki Ekimae Festival Kawasaki Hyakki Yagyo Yokai Costume Contest at the event venue in front of JR Kawasaki Station. Kawasaki Halloween (Kawahalo) was Japan’s largest Halloween event. In 2019, a runway event was held in Ginryu-gai, heralding the dawn of a new era for Kawahalo. However, several years have passed since it quietly came to an end amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, to keep the flame of Kawahalo alive, we have held individual events, including candy distribution in front of Kawasaki Station and mainly in the shopping district. This time, to further liven up Halloween in Kawasaki, we will be holding the Kawasaki Hyakki Yagyo Costume Contest, incorporating a Japanese-style theme. The winner will be appointed “Ginryugai’s Official Yokai Promotion Ambassador.” Please apply! ※Please note※ Even if you are participating as a group, we ask that you apply individually for event insurance purposes.
