TSP Taiyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshigo Ikezawa; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is involved in the planning and spatial design of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. We are pleased to announce the special nighttime viewing of the temple, “IRODORI.” Sponsored by Kunozan Toshogu Shrine (390 Negoya, Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City) and Shizuoka Railway Co., Ltd., and co-sponsored by The Shizuoka Shimbun Company and Shizuoka Broadcasting Co., Ltd., the viewing will be held at Kunozan Toshogu Shrine on weekends and holidays only from Tuesday, September 23rd to Sunday, December 7th, with a limit of 800 visitors per day. Kunozan Toshogu Shrine was founded around the 7th century as Potalakasan Kuno-ji Temple. It is a historic shrine that is designated as one of the “Three Great Toshogu Shrines,” along with Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Ueno Toshogu Shrine, and is a designated National Treasure. This event will allow visitors to enjoy special nighttime viewing of the entire grounds of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, which are normally off-limits to the public. In addition, visitors can enjoy a dazzling brilliance that will make you forget your daily routine, thanks to the elegant origami-themed illuminations. The spatial design for the illuminations was produced by our creative brand “ELEMENTS,” and the fantastical spatial presentation was completed by artist “YouRuMaru.” Advance tickets are now on sale and can only be purchased at 7-Eleven. Same-day tickets are also available, but sales will end once the limited number of tickets is reached. Enjoy your visit in a majestic and fantastical atmosphere, bathed in light and color.
