Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hisashi Fujikura; hereinafter “Universal Music”) has announced the release of Masayoshi Yamazaki’s all-time best album, “Yamazaki Kenbunroku ~30th Anniversary All Time Best Album” Best~” will be released on Thursday, September 25th.

participating in sessions as a musician. To commemorate his 30th anniversary, he will be releasing an all-time best album on Thursday, September 25th, the anniversary of his debut. This album contains 33 tracks across three CDs, arranged chronologically to trace Yamazaki’s career from his debut in 1995 to 2025. As bonus tracks exclusive to the CD, two previously unreleased demo tracks from 1995, “Yasa Otoko no Yume” and “Boku wa Koko ni Iru,” are officially released for the first time. The jacket photo was taken in Sakuragicho, Yokohama, where Yamazaki spent time before his debut, and past artist photos are scattered across the cityscape in the background, looking back on his 30-year career. “One more time, One more chance,” a signature song from this album that brought Yamazaki to public attention, has been chosen for the theme song of the live-action film “5 Centimeters per Second” (starring Hokuto Matsumura), which will be released on Friday, October 10th. The song became a long-running hit as the theme song for the 1997 film “Moon and Cabbage,” in which Yamazaki starred, and was also used as the theme song for the 2007 animated film “5 Centimeters per Second,” directed by Makoto Shinkai.It has now become a
masterpiece, with a total of over 100 million streams.
