The “Osaka-Kansai Expo Pia” magazine, released on February 27th ahead of the opening, contains detailed information on how to purchase tickets, how to get to the venue, a large, portable venue map, and the latest information on pavilions before they are unveiled. The “Osaka-Kansai Expo Pia Complete Guide,” released on June 27, approximately two months after the opening, features live-action footage of every pavilion, and staff members walked the entire venue, providing real-world information they could only have gleaned from every corner. Furthermore, the “Pavilion Satisfaction Ranking,” based on satisfaction surveys of over 2,000 visitors at the Expo site’s exit, has been featured in numerous media outlets.

Including the 45,000 copies of the photo book, the total number of copies sold for the series is 1,155,000. Following the release of the “Osaka-Kansai Expo Photobook,” social media has been flooded with emotional comments, such as, “There were so many scenes I hadn’t seen before, and when I realized that, I felt a little sad—I still haven’t seen enough!”, “The photos are beautiful, with lots of pictures of people smiling and enjoying themselves, so it’s very Pia-esque,” “This is so moving!”, and “It was designed so that you could relive the process of entering the Expo from Yumeshima Station through the photos.” To commemorate this reprint, we are releasing a total of 13 pages, including some previously unreleased pages. This book encapsulates the 184 days of encounters and excitement that saw 158 countries and regions and seven international organizations participate, and over 20 million people visit, with a heartfelt thank you to everyone!
