Press Release: September 26, 2025 First Banksy Print Exhibition in Sanin More than 60 works will be on display and for sale, including new Banksy prints (WCP reproductions) JU Yonago Takashimaya will be holding the first Banksy Print Exhibition in the San’in region from Friday, October 3rd, in a special venue on the 4th floor. This exhibition will showcase Banksy’s new prints, produced by WCP (West Country Prince), and will feature six special edition prints making their Japan debut, including Banksy’s “Flower Thrower” painted on a Palestinian wall and “JUDO,” left behind in war-torn Ukraine, as well as over 60 of his early reproduction prints.

[BANKSY] One of the most famous and globally controversial artists in the contemporary art scene, Banksy’s existence is shrouded in mystery. Since the early days of his career, Banksy has been a political activist, conveying a variety of messages. His appeals to modern people about political issues such as waste and authoritarianism, as well as his protests against war and conflict, seem to be themes that deserve renewed attention in our current era through Banksy’s work. In addition to new prints by WCP, this exhibition brings together Banksy’s most famous work, “Girl with Balloon,” as well as prints featuring underground rats, which the artist is said to liken to himself. Due to Banksy’s popularity, there are many counterfeits in circulation. This work has been faithfully reproduced by West Country Prince (WCP), a British company that has been producing and selling Banksy reproductions for many years, using the same techniques as Banksy’s early works. All pieces feature the WCP logo and serial number on the back (some pieces may have different specifications).
