(Animate Group) brings you coverage of the first event for their new content, “Sea Turtle Battle.” The first event for “Turtle Battle,” the new content based on the popular mystery game “Turtle Soup,” was held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Animate Theater on the second basement floor of Animate Ikebukuro Main Store. The cast included Nobuhiko Okamoto and Sho Kano. They used their powers of deduction to solve mysteries, participated in some Ogiri (comic comedy) contests, and chatted about their daily voice acting careers. Can you uncover the truth through repeated question and answer sessions? This mystery-solving event, open to audience participation, will test your keen intuition and creative thinking! Join us in uncovering the truth behind this mystery!! ◆Scenes from the event◆ As light streamed into the darkened venue and the opening video began to play, Okamoto and Kano appeared, dressed in aristocratic attire. Okamoto, who introduced himself as “Nobuche Okamorto” in a nobleman-like (!?) manner, and Kano, who called himself “Karino Sho Gabriel,” spoke of their enthusiasm for the day at the urging of Baron Torche, who invited them to the stage. Each participant was given the opportunity to carefully consider the answer based on reasoning and theory, or to rely on intuition, so they each made their own deductions in the style that suited them. Since the event also allowed for some humor, it sometimes took on a comical tone, resembling a “Ogiri” (comic-comedy) show. The audience was thrilled by the lively developments. Participants who came to the venue could win a “prize” if they solved the mystery faster than Okamoto and Kano, and their names were read out by the performers, so many participants became engrossed in solving the mystery. The close proximity of the stage and audience at Animate Theater created a sense of realism, and it was a fun and enjoyable event.
