Meiji Yasuda is collaborating with Studio Chizu and director Mamoru Hosoda’s latest film, “Endless Scarlet,” scheduled for release on November 21, 2025. This animated film depicts a woman who, while torn between feelings of revenge and retribution, continues to trust others and strives to live her life. It explores the hope and difficulties of seeking human connection and moving toward the future in these turbulent times. Although the backgrounds and circumstances are different, the theme of this work shares many similarities with Meiji Yasuda’s “MY Link Coordinators (sales staff),” who listen to the voices of people in their communities and build relationships of trust. Though they are in different fields of expression, both depict the importance of “the power to support relationships between people,” and we aim to reach more people with this value through this tie-up. • Application period: October 1st (Wednesday) to October 31st (Friday), 2025 • Prize: • “Endless Scarlet” Movie Tickets (1,500 pairs, 3,000 winners) • Among those who do not win the movie tickets, 5,000 people will receive a fleece blanket with an original “Endless Scarlet” bag. • How to apply: Apply via the special website • Special site URL:
https://game.smktg.jp/public/seminar/view/8056?eiga=11 I died, I lived, and I learned love. After failing to take revenge on her father’s enemy, Princess Scarlett wakes up in the Land of the Dead. This is a crazy world where people spend their days looting and committing violence, and the powerless and injured become “nothingness” and disappear from existence. When Scarlett learns that her enemy, her uncle Claudius, who killed her father and seized the throne, is also in this world, she once again vows to seek revenge. Then she meets Hijiri, a nurse from modern-day Japan. The two meet across time and, despite initial conflicts, end up traveling together through the Land of the Dead.

Scarlett’s frozen heart gradually thaws as Hijiri treats her wounds and shows kindness to both friend and foe. Meanwhile, Claudius discovered the “endless place” everyone dreams of in the Land of the Dead, and incited the people to take control, trying to make it his own. He also hears that Scarlett is searching for him to exact revenge, and ruthlessly sends assassins to turn her into
“Nothingness.” Scarlett and Hijiri also head for the “endless place” to find Claudius, fighting assassins who appear one after another… And then the fateful moment arrives. What is the decision that Scarlett will reach at the end of her endless journey? Meiji Yasuda and Studio Chizu’s collaboration began with the original animated commercial “Aki’s Promise” in 2020 and has continued multiple times since, including “The Dragon and the Freckled Princess” (2021). In 2024, the “Studio Chizu x Meiji Yasuda 5th Anniversary Special Site” was launched, summarizing the history of their work. The themes that both parties value are “connections between people” and “the strength to step into the future.” Many of Studio Chizu’s stories depict characters facing difficulties and conflicts, but growing and moving toward the future through their interactions with others. This deeply resonates with Meiji Yasuda’s approach of being rooted in the community, listening to each and every customer, and supporting them through life’s milestones and changes.
