GANMI, the world champion dancer who choreographs for numerous artists both in Japan and abroad while also releasing his own music as a dance artist, released his new song, “BRAND NEW TRAVEL,” on October 1, 2025. This new track is a collaboration with music producer/DJ tofubeats, who has produced numerous hits, and rapper Ole, who also works as a video director/animator. Ole wrote the lyrics and tofubeats composed the music, resulting in electro-dance music that will have you dancing. Ole’s refreshing lyrics and tofubeats’ addictive track make this a must-listen. Following the recent success of free concerts (Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Sendai) with the full cooperation of Jikei Gakuen, GANMI will be holding a street concert at SHIBUYA KITAYA PARK (Shibuya Ward Chatan Park) on Monday, October 13th (national holiday). Furthermore, they have announced that they will be holding a 10th anniversary tour in November, with the tour finale at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO). ▼Message from GANMI (Sota) This song was produced by tofubeats, an artist I absolutely adore. I’ve seen his live shows privately and listen to his music whether I’m dancing or not. He makes music I adore. The track created by tofubeats is an amazing track that makes your heart dance the moment you hear it, but also brings back memories. It was the first time I’d been so moved by a demo track that wasn’t even finished. And Ole participated in the lyrics and vocals. He’s a longtime friend of member kooouya, and I’ve known him for a long time. We talked about GANMI, the JG Project (a free live show we did six years ago and did again this summer), and various aspects of our background, and then he wrote the lyrics. As the lyrics “A Hiace Leaving a Quiet Night Street” say, while dancers primarily perform on stages when invited, I believe these lyrics are unique to GANMI, who has driven his own car to perform on their own stages.
