Press release: October 1, 2025 To Members of the Press The top 100 poems for the first tanka award held by the tanka app 57577, with the theme “What Alcohol Taught Me,” have been decided. Of the 1,134 poems submitted, 100 were selected for novelty goods. The first poetry gathering was also held in Kiyosumi Shirakawa. With its main store in Chiba, GINZA Imadeya Co., Ltd. (Location: Nidona-cho, Chuo-ku, Chiba City; Representative Director: Ogura Shuichi; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), which operates the liquor select shop “IMADEYA” in SIX, Kinshicho PARCO, Chiba Ekinaka, Kiyosumi Shirakawa, Karuizawa, and Matsuzakaya Nagoya, has collaborated with the tanka app “57577,” which is popular among young people, to solicit tanka poems on the theme of “What alcohol has taught me.” The Tanka Award was held from August 1st to August 31st. 707 people submitted a total of 1,134 poems in this category, and the top winners have now been decided. The top winners will receive a recommended sake from IMADEYA. Additionally, the top 100 tanka poems will be used in the design of IMADEYA coasters and novelty stickers. This event featured guest poet Kei Amano, known for his appearances on “Radio Midnight” and his textbook serialization in “NHK Tanka.” People of all ages gathered, having submitted their own tanka poems in advance. They exchanged their impressions without revealing the identity of the reader, creating a lively atmosphere. After the event, a party was quickly held for participants at Imadeya Kiyosumi Shirakawa, located near the venue, reaffirming the wonderful combination of tanka and alcohol.
