The best-selling Lisa Larson calendar, which has been on sale for over 10 years, is back this year. Pre-orders are now open for the calendar, which includes a message inspired by M. B. Gothenburg, she joined Gustavsberg, the Swedish ceramics manufacturer, at the request of Stig Lindberg, art director of the company. She became a central designer supporting the company’s golden age. In 1952, she married painter Gunnar Larsson. In 1980, she became a freelancer and has since worked with numerous clients. In the 2000s, she began collaborating with Tonkachi Co., Ltd. (Japan), which sparked a global resurgence in her popularity. In 2022, she will be awarded a medal by the Swedish government for her many years of outstanding work in renovating and enriching Swedish arts and crafts. As a child, Goffstein found books so amazing that she couldn’t believe they were made by humans, but rather that they were a gift from God. Ever since she learned that they were written by humans, she has wanted to become a book writer. She says the experience of reading a book is the same as experiencing real life. A spiritual and philosophical story, a world of life and fantasy in the form of a children’s book.
