We’re determined to give it our all to make this tournament the best it can be, with BBOYS and BGIRLS from around the world gathering in Kurume, the city where we first discovered breaking. Kyushu is home to many pioneers who have led the national street dance scene for many years. Never forgetting their respect for the pioneers who paved the way for them, the members of Kyushu Otokoji Shinsengumi continue to work energetically, rooted in the community, as the leaders of the next generation. This team originated in Kurume and is a symbol of a breaking movement that has spread its wings from the countryside to the world. They continue to embody the charm of breaking and the cultural energy of Kyushu through their own style and personal strength, and their attitude resonates deeply with the tournament’s philosophy of “ONE STEP CAN MOVE THE WORLD.” We believe that having them join us as ambassadors to promote the tournament will be of great significance in spreading the history and pride of Japanese and Kyushu street culture to the world and passing it on to the next generation.
