■The theme for 2026 is “Travel.” The title is “non now” This is a road movie-style photo art calendar that captures the atmosphere of Non’s travels. This time, instead of shooting in a studio, we deliberately chose the format of a “journey” and shot the entire film on location. Based in an old house in the satoyama of Otaki Town, Chiba Prefecture, Non is captured in her natural state, eating, playing, and relaxing in a landscape that is an extension of everyday life, yet where time flows in a special way. The morning and evening light, the local atmosphere, and the coincidences of the moment all come together to create a structure that unfolds like a road movie. The photos were taken by photographer Atsuko Kitaura, who has been capturing Non’s expressions for many years. Under the title “non now,” the shots, woven from an improvised and sometimes poetic perspective, vividly portray Non’s “present.” In addition, photos that didn’t fit into the calendar will be released at a later date as a zine with a “travel guidebook” motif. This will be another gateway to immerse yourself more deeply in the world of the work. Stay tuned.
