A story of three trajectories: “Art History,” “Creative Process,” and “Evolution of Creative Activities” Oekaki Movie Inc., the creators and developers of “Oekaki Movie(R),” a software that solves the problems of corporate branding and product PR, and the International My Story Association (headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Representative: Haku Nobuaki), are pleased to announce the “Akewaka Museum of Art ‘Kiseki’ Exhibition” (October 17th – 19th, 2025: Minato Ward, Osaka City) as the third project to support the creator activities of the association’s top-ranking “Certified Story Artist” creators.

■Three “Trajectories” Presented by this Exhibition (1) The Trajectory of Art History The works were inspired by approximately 50 masters and famous paintings introduced on the “Akewaka Museum of Art” YouTube channel. By arranging the artists who inspired them in chronological order, the exhibition traces the flow of art history alongside the artworks. (2) The Path of Creation The creative process is characterized by copying the works of masters and learning about the artist’s own life and story. These are incorporated and sublimated into new “Akewaka Art.” Some of the works were created by layering copies to create originals, and the “trajectory” of these works is engraved on each canvas. (3) The History of the Akewaka Museum As the culmination of over two years of activities centered on YouTube, this collection of over 130 works tells the story of the artist’s activities themselves. The “Akewaka Museum” channel has introduced masterpieces by masters and shared Akewaka’s own creative process. The works on display this time are a culmination of that journey, as well as a record of Akewaka’s own evolution as an artist and a token of his gratitude to his viewers. Through this viewing experience that follows three paths, you will experience new and memorable discoveries as you experience the stories woven together by famous paintings and modern interpretations, the unique and layered color expressions, and the history of the artist’s work and activities, all while savoring them with all five senses.

After working in a wide range of creative fields, including as a stage actor, live streamer, tourism ambassador, tourism reporter, and oekaki creator (creating hand-drawn animations of stories about solo entrepreneurs and companies), he began working as an artist, utilizing his unique sensibilities. In 2022, he will hold solo exhibitions in Okinawa and Tokyo. In 2023, she launched the YouTube channel “Akewaka Museum,” where she shares her learnings and creative process while studying the great masters and famous paintings of the past. By connecting knowledge with practice, she is creating a space where art feels more accessible. She has established a unique creative style that layers multiple colors on a single canvas and reconstructs traditional wisdom and techniques with a modern interpretation. Her works, which weave color and storytelling, bring warmth and awareness to the hearts of viewers.
■Toward an era where you can turn your passion into a career [The Significance of This Project and Exhibition] This social experiment explores a new way of working—turning your passion into a career through art—in collaboration with the International Self-Story Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and creators who are certified story artists, the Association’s highest
qualification. We work with creators who aspire to hold solo exhibitions to create spaces where their works can be sold and where they can meet people interested in their art. This is not just an exhibition event; it is an opportunity to open up creative expression, including art activities, to society, and to explore new forms of expression and value that are not bound by existing frameworks. In addition to financial support, our association provides comprehensive support for solo exhibitions, including promotion, sales system development, web development, and venue setup. This solo exhibition, “Trajectory,” carries the message, “The trajectory of history, the trajectory of production, the trajectory of the museum—all of it for you.” It carries great significance, offering new insights into art appreciation and creative career development.
■What is Oekaki Movie(R)? This video technique solves the branding challenges faced by entrepreneurs and companies through “storytelling” and “hand-drawn expression.” Based on the video technique first used by YouTuber Sam Pepper in 2013, “Draw My Life,” which first featured a whiteboard, our company’s CEO, Haku Nobuaki, established it as a “drawing video without sales” that combines story branding. ■What is Oekaki Creator(R)?
