Aizuwakamatsu City, as well as digital art of a riot of beautifully blooming flowers symbolizing the famous cherry blossom viewing spots. “Tsuruga Castle Projection Mapping 2025,” a commemorative event for the 60th anniversary of the reconstruction of Tsuruga Castle’s main tower, produced by Ikki Co., Ltd., will be held at Tsuruga Castle Ruins Park until Sunday, October 5, 2025. (Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture) (Organized by: Tsuruga Castle Night Walk Executive Committee) This event is being held to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the reconstruction of Tsuruga Castle’s main tower. The tower and stone walls of Tsuruga Castle, one of Japan’s most beautiful castles, will be illuminated with projection mapping images featuring traditional cultures such as Aizu lacquerware, Aizu-e candles, and Fukushima flowers; paintings by Aizu artist Shukei Yukimura; and digital art of a profusion of beautiful, blooming flowers symbolizing the castle’s famous cherry blossom viewing spots. Parts of the park will also be lit up, allowing you to enjoy the magical nightscape of Tsuruga Castle. Admission is free and no prior registration is required.
