【Life Conference】 On Sunday, October 5th, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, we will be hosting an event at the Expo Commemoration Park/Minpaku in Suita, featuring Sachiko Nakajima and the KURAGE Band. Let’s have more fun and be more inclusive with music, culture, and sports! Life Conference Press Release: October 5, 2025 On Sunday, October 5th, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, we will be hosting “Make music, culture, and sports more fun and inclusive for everyone!” at Expo Commemoration Park/Minpaku in Suita, featuring “Sachiko Nakajima and the KURAGE Band.” Apologies: The second part of the walking football event and the parade have been cancelled due to rain. Purpose of the Event A day where everyone can experience music, sports, and learning, and experience the importance of life and connections. Jazz pianist and mathematician Nakajima Sachiko, the life-themed Jellyfish Band, and the Osaka University Soccer Club will collaborate on a multi-generational event in support of the ideals of the Life Conference and Osaka University SSI. Part 1 will feature a mini talk and performance by “Nakajima Sachiko & KURAGEBand” starting at 2:15 PM at the National Museum of Ethnology in Expo Commemoration Park (co-sponsored by the Life Conference, Osaka University Social Solutions Initiative (SSI), and Osaka University Athletic Association Soccer Club). Part 2 was canceled due to rain. An inclusive sport called “Working Football” will be played at Osaka University’s Suita Grounds, adjacent to Expo Commemoration Park (sponsored by the Osaka University Athletic Association Soccer Club). After Part 1, Nakajima Sachiko and KURAGEBand will slowly walk through Expo Commemoration Park to the west exit and parade along the circular road to Osaka University’s Suita Grounds, where Part 2 will be held. (This event was also canceled due to rain.)
