FRUITS ZIPPER won the Best Idol Culture Song Award at the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025, Japan’s largest international music awards, held for the first time this year. They will be holding a live concert to celebrate their third anniversary at Saitama Super Arena Stadium Mode in August, and have announced their first Tokyo Dome concert in February 2026. This was the first solo performance by all seven members in about four months, and the concert title was “Hacha Mecha Wacha Life!”, the first new theme song for the TV anime “Crayon Shin-chan” in five years. Fans gathered at the venue were filled with excitement, wondering what kind of concert it would be. As the overture rang out throughout the venue, the excitement among the fans rose, and suddenly, Nakagawa Ruka popped onto the stage. Then, Manaka Mana called out, “Furu-pari!”, and the show began. Nakagawa hyped up the fans from the DJ booth in the center of the stage, and then the band members appeared in the audience, each riding a kick scooter, Segway, shopping cart, stilts, and other vehicles, right up close to the fans. The unexpected surprise elicited loud cheers from the audience, marking the start of a truly chaotic live performance.

It has been generating a lot of buzz among fans even before the CD release, making it a much-anticipated performance for fans. Furthermore, in the middle of the live performance, they performed “Hacha Mecha Wacha Life!”, the other title track of their fourth single CD, which was just released on Saturday, October 4th, for the first time in their new costumes. Elements of “Crayon Shin-chan” are packed into the lyrics and dance throughout, including the comical, jiggly dance. During the MC, Manaka commented, “It’s a truly ‘chaotic’ song, and you’ll find yourself dancing when you hear it.” It’s a song that’s hard to get out of your head once you hear it. For the debut performance of their new songs “JAM” and “Hachamecha Wacha Life!”, smartphone video recording was allowed during the performance, allowing fans to see FRUITS ZIPPER’s cute stage performance via social media.

The chaotic action brought smiles to the faces of the many fans gathered in the venue. They concluded the main part of the show with back-to-back
performances of “Pipopapo” and “Kanseishugi de☆.” And immediately, the audience called for an encore. At the performance on Saturday the 4th, just when you thought the band members were responding, they appeared dressed in the trademark red T-shirt and yellow shorts of Shinnosuke Nohara, the main character of “Crayon Shin-chan.” What’s more, a “crazy” surprise awaited as Shin-chan also appeared. In a miraculous collaboration between Shin-chan and FRUTIS ZIPPER, they performed “Crazy Life!” again. Manaka expressed her joy at this collaboration, saying, “I can’t believe that Shin-chan, whom I’ve seen (watched) almost every week since I was little, is standing next to me like this!”
