“Higanjima” (by Koji Matsumoto), which began serialization in Kodansha’s “Young Magazine” in 2002, is a wildly popular survival horror series with a total of over 11 million copies sold. This work is currently being serialized, with the completed series “Higanjima” and “Higanjima: The Last 47 Days,” as well as the latest series “Higanjima: 48 Days Later….” The 51st volume of “Higanjima: 48 Days Later…,” to be released and streamed on Monday, October 6, 2025, will mark the 100th volume in the series! To celebrate reaching the 100th volume, special events and e-book campaigns have been announced. Starting in October, visuals of “Higanjima” will also be appearing on large panels inside Junkudo Ikebukuro Bookstore and on a large wall billboard at the Daini Toa Kaikan in Kabukicho, Shinjuku.
