Kyoto Night Market Project LLC Press Release: October 6, 2025 “Kyoto Night Market,” which has attracted over 45,000 visitors, is making its first appearance in the Kyoto City Hall Square. A stellar lineup of guests, including leading young Tsugaru shamisen player Keiichi Koyama – With over 35% inbound visitors, the “Cultural Experience Night Market” will be held for the first time on Sunday, October 12th in front of Kyoto City Hall with the support of Kyoto City. Kyoto Night Market, a driving force behind Kyoto’s nighttime tourism, will be making its first appearance in the Kyoto City Hall Plaza with the support of the city. Featuring Tsugaru shamisen performer Keiichi Koyama and the innovative Japanese instrument band Rin Hitoe, the event will combine tradition and innovation. The market will offer a new way to spend the night in Kyoto to the rapidly recovering inbound tourists and local residents, contributing to the revitalization of the city’s nighttime economy.
