Naniwa Danshi’s Keito Nagao and Anna Yamada, co-stars in the film “Love’s Disease,” which hits theaters nationwide on Friday, October 24th, have been confirmed to appear on the special stage! The original novel of the same name is a much-talked-about work by Yuki Shasendo, a talented author who freely spans the mystery, suspense, and romance genres. Since its release in late March 2020, this shocking romance novel has garnered a huge response from teenagers, especially on social media, and now it’s been made into a long-awaited live-action film. The clumsy yet devoted first love between shy high school boy Miyamine and popular boy Kei is intertwined with suspicious incidents and terrifying suspicions about the lovers, making this the purest and most exciting love story of the fall. Kei Nagao, who plays Miyamine, is the youngest member of Naniwa Danshi, a group that successfully completed its first Asian tour last year. He has made great strides as an actor this year, appearing in a string of acclaimed films, including “Muromachi Burai” and his first leading role in the feature film “Oishikute Naaku Toki.” The other main character, Kei, is played by Anna Yamada, whose outstanding acting skills have earned her acclaim since her 2016 screen debut in “Too Young to Die!”, winning both the Best Supporting Actress and Best Newcomer Award at the 48th Japan Academy Awards for her roles in “Golden Kamuy” and “Seitai.” These two highly acclaimed actors and actresses will liven up the stage.
