W Co., Ltd. TOKYO Press Release: October 6, 2025 [TGC Hiroshima 2025] TGC’s first vertical short drama has been completed, surpassing 3 million views in just three days since its release! A bittersweet coming-of-age story shot entirely in Hiroshima, starring Hiroshima-born model Rei Mukai. Tokyo Girls Collection Executive Committee (Planning/Production: W Co., Ltd.) TGC Hiroshima 2025 will be held at Hiroshima Green Arena (4-1 Motomachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture) on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, as part of “Hiromatsu Holdings presents TGC HIROSHIMA 2025 by TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION” (hereinafter referred to as “TGC Hiroshima 2025”). With the cooperation of Hiroshima City, TGC has completed a short vertical drama showcasing the appeal of Hiroshima. By utilizing vertical dramas, which are popular among young people, we will propose a new form of regional revitalization. ■ Total views exceeded 3 million in just three days since release! “It’s so emotional.” Hiroshima-born model Rei Mukai stars in this bittersweet coming-of-age story filmed entirely in Hiroshima. “Vertical Short Dramas,” short episodes of 15 seconds to 1 minute woven into a vertical screen, are captivating young viewers with their ease of viewing in their spare time and their structure that keeps viewers eagerly awaiting the next development. With the spread of social media and video platforms, the number of young people getting their information from social media, instead of television or magazines, is rapidly increasing. Among these, vertical short dramas have a strong storyline yet are completed in a short amount of time, making them highly popular both as entertainment and a means of disseminating information. This project utilizes this format to tell a bittersweet coming-of-age story set in Hiroshima. Hiroshima’s famous sights, gourmet food, and cityscapes are naturally depicted in this life-sized drama, from casual after-school time with friends to a first date with a crush. As viewers enjoy the drama, memorable scenes from the area are scattered throughout, allowing them to experience a new side of the region through scenes of love and friendship that young people can easily relate to. This regional revitalization content is unique to TGC, which has long promoted the charm of regional areas through entertainment. Image

I speak in Hiroshima dialect on a daily basis, and I also speak in Hiroshima dialect in this short drama, so I think it’s a work that will make you feel the heart-fluttering emotions and friendship that come from being real. Please check it out! Born June 25, 2007, in Hiroshima
Prefecture. An exclusive model for “Popteen.” She gained attention after appearing on Abema’s popular romance show “I Fell in Love Today. Summer Vacation Edition 2023.” Since then, she has expanded her activities, primarily to television, and in 2025 appeared on Nippon Television’s “ZIP!” and TBS’s “Sunday Japon.” With over 1 million followers on social media, she is garnering attention as a model and talent representing Generation Z.

This project focused not only on capturing beautiful landscapes, but also on the people who live there. The three films in this series are actually connected as a single story. Following the flow of “Soul Friends,” followed by “Miyajima Koibito,” followed by “The Person I Love and The Person I Love,” this series depicts the youth of three people: Rei, Kokoro, and Renya. Due to the format of a short drama, we were only able to depict a small part of the story, but I believe viewers will enjoy it even more if they can imagine the “blank parts” of the story that are not depicted. My favorite scene is when Kokoro purposely rips Rei’s paper bag in “Miyajima Koi Biyori” to assist her in her love life. The expression on Kokoro’s face after Rei and Renya leave is particularly amazing, so be sure to pay attention (lol). Born July 4, 2002. A film director who weaves stories by sublimating the sensibility of physical expression cultivated through dance into visual images. After winning a national dance competition, she expanded her pursuit of expression into the world of video. She excels at storytelling that stirs the emotions of viewers by capturing moments where light and shadow, stillness and movement, reality and fantasy intersect. ■ Work summary Release date: Friday, October 3, 2025 Distribution location: TGC official TikTok (https://www.tiktok.com/@tgc__official) TGC official Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/tgc_staff/) vol.1 『Shintomo』 Starring: Rei Mukai, Kokoro Kato Director: Shohei Matsuura (HA-LU) Filming locations: Hiroshima Shudo University Hiroshima Collaborative Creation Junior and Senior High School, Kure City, Karuga Seaside Park, Hiroshima City, MO-MO-MILK, Koteju Kogo Branch, Hiroshima City, Aioibashi Bridge, Hiroshima City vol.2 “Miyajima Love Weather” Starring: Rei Mukai, Renya Miyamoto, Kokoro Kato, Soraki Nakayama Director: Shohei Matsuura (HA-LU) Filming Locations: Hiroshima Shudo University Hiroshima Collaborative Junior and Senior High School, Hiroshima City; Miyajima, Hatsukaichi City; Itsukushima Shrine, Hatsukaichi City Vol. 3 “The One I Love and the One I Love” Starring: Mukai Rei, Miyamoto Renya Director: Shohei Matsuura (HA-LU) Filming Locations: Hiroshima Station, Hiroshima City; “Eemon-ya” Hondori Shopping Street, Onomichi City; Senkoji Ropeway, Onomichi City Senkoji Summit Observatory “PEAK,” Onomichi City; Senkoji Temple, Onomichi City Produced by: HA-LU Co., Ltd. TGC, formerly known as the “Regional Industry Revitalization Project,” began in March 2009 with the “Cabinet Secretariat Regional Revitalization Project – Glasses in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture.” With the goal of
revitalizing local industries across Japan, TGC has hosted promotional booths and stage displays at the Tokyo TGC venue, as well as held TGC events in regional cities such as Nagoya, Okinawa, and Fukushima. Then, in 2015, the “TGC Regional Revitalization Project” was launched, utilizing the TGC platform to not only promote the charms and industries of local areas nationwide, but also to provide
opportunities to experience “Tokyo’s cutting edge,” based on the TGC philosophy of regional revitalization. Starting with TGC Kitakyushu 2015, held in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture in the same year, the locations have expanded year by year to Toyama, the first in the Hokuriku region, Hiroshima, the first in the Chugoku region, Shizuoka, Kumamoto, Wakayama in the Kansai region, Matsuyama, the first in Shikoku, and Kagawa. We will continue to promote the charms of regional cities through TGC.
