T3 PHOTO FESTIVAL TOKYO 2025 (7th Tokyo International Photography Festival) Poster Higashikawa Town declared itself a town of
photography in June 1985, aiming to “develop a vibrant and enriching town where nature and culture are in harmony, open to the world, through international exchange and photographic culture.” Since then, we have continued to develop various projects with photography as the core of our town development, marking our 40th anniversary this year. We are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting the Higashikawa Town of Photography Award Collection at the T3 PHOTO FESTIVAL TOKYO 2025. The Higashikawa Town of Photography Award has been awarded to 180 artists up to the 41st time the award has been presented, and winners have donated original prints of their works to Higashikawa residents. We hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity to learn more about Higashikawa Town’s efforts as a town of photography over the past 41 years.
