“Akibakka~no,” a dance battle event featuring A-Pop songs (anime songs, vocaloid songs, VTuber songs, etc.) hosted by BOYZ member Atsuki Suzumiya, held its largest-ever tournament at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium and was a huge success. Now in its 12th year, this one-of-a-kind entertainment event that combines street dance and Akihabara culture has attracted attention from both within Japan and overseas. This year, a record 200 teams participated in the 2-on-2 BATTLE. Preliminaries were held by a panel of distinguished judges, and from the BEST 16 onwards, a tournament format took place on a center stage with added lighting, sound, and VJ effects. The audience and dancers became one in a lively atmosphere, creating a thrilling day. Ryu and Yuta won, achieving their third consecutive victory.
