@snow_shoveling More than a “book lover,” I’m a “bookstore lover.” My reading history has ranged from Haruki Murakami to American literature and counterculture. Without ever working in a bookstore, I founded SNOW SHOVELING BOOKS & GALLERY in Komazawa, Tokyo, in 2012 as a complete amateur. I’m still not sure what I want to achieve, so for now, I’m aiming for “something that resembles a bookstore.” About “Penguin Bunko (New Books)” – @penguin.bunco The mobile bookstore “Penguin Bunko” launched in May 2015. Based in Sendai, the company operates a mobile bookstore in various locations, exploring new possibilities for books and bookstores, with a lineup centered on new releases in photography, art, literature, poetry, etc. In March 2024, a permanent store, “Penguin Bunko,” will open in Yamagata Creative City Center Q1 in Yamagata City.

He’s constantly creating new things, whether it’s drawing, erasing, pasting, cutting, or splitting. This event will also feature a portrait artist who draws portraits that look just like him. In addition, an original art exhibition for “THE AMERICANS by Kazuya Mougi” will be held at Penguin Bunko in Yamagata Creative City Center Q1 from November 15th (Sat) to 30th (Sun).
[Restaurant / GEA 0053 Collaboration] Held in November and December Collaboration projects with GEA0053 are held monthly. GEA plans unique collaborations through food, spanning a wide range of genres, from restaurants, cafes, and sweets to producers. ■Sunday, November 16th: Mogami’s French Restaurant Totomabi Totomabi expresses gastronomy in Mogami, a region that can be considered a “remote area” in the food and beverage industry. Feeling sympathy and respect for their efforts to contribute to the revitalization of the local area, GEA0053 sent a love call, which led to the realization of this event.

This restaurant embodies local gastronomy, where tradition and innovation come together in harmony. ■A certain day in December – Isolia Cuisine – Sonoisono GEA0053’s first head chef will return for one day only. A fitting finale to the collaborative project, this master-disciple collaboration will be realized. A special event will be held, featuring Chef Masahiro Isono, a top-class chef in Japan and selected as one of Asia’s 50 Best.

This second installment is the “High-Cut Boa” series. The outer fabric is made from recycled fabric left over from the manufacturing process of Sato Seni’s original brand. The shoes are roomy to accommodate thick socks and feature an open heel for easy on and off without using your hands. The insoles are made with high-resilience urethane. Image
