The first volume of the original manga “Koharu and the Two Nights,” currently serialized in Comic Earth Star, an online comic magazine run by Earth Star Entertainment Inc. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo), went on sale today, October 10th (Friday). To coincide with the release, a voice mix for the first episode of “Koharu and the Two Nights” and a promotional video to commemorate the release have been released. Voice mix for episode 1 of “Koharu and the Two Nights” has been released! In the voice comic, Saya Aizawa plays the dual roles of the protagonist, Shiratori Koharu, and Akito, the other character lurking within her. Hiyori Ishibashi plays Amagase Iori, a classmate who changes Koharu and Akito’s daily lives. Whenever Shiratori Koharu (CV: Saya Aizawa) experiences great stress or shock due to past trauma, she switches bodies with a being named Akito (CV: Saya Aizawa) that lurks within her. “My role is to protect Koharu…that is, I’m a knight!” Akito declares, directing his hostility toward anything that makes Koharu feel bad. Meanwhile, Koharu’s classmate, Iori Amegase (CV: Hiyori Ishibashi), becomes aware of Akito’s presence by chance. A classmate from her past, who is the cause of her trauma, appears, but Iori, who nonchalantly appears and helps her, is incredibly straightforward, kind, and cool! But even so, there are some slightly comical aspects to what he says and does. I thought this episode allowed me to love each character, even with those contrasts. I also think that being able to enjoy the contrast between the two characters’ voices is one of the charms of voice comics. Among them, Koharu’s “Fueeeeehhhh!?” and Akito’s “Haaaaa!?”, which appear in the voice comics and PV, were recorded with particular attention to detail, so please pay attention to those as well.
