Press Release: October 10, 2025 The Kyoto Shimbun 2026 calendar, “Kyoto and Shiga: Modern Architecture Breathing into Everyday Life,” is complete | An exhibition of original illustrations by Sanuki Naoya will be held at Kyoto Tsutaya Bookstore Exhibit original illustrations on the theme of modern architecture rooted in everyday life. Calendars and original merchandise are also available for purchase. The Kyoto Shimbun has completed its 2026 calendar, “Kyoto and Shiga: Modern Architecture Breathing into Everyday Life,” in collaboration with Kyoto-born illustrator Naoya Sanuki. To commemorate this, the “2026 KYOTO SEASONS” exhibition will be held at the SHARE LOUNGE on the 6th floor of Kyoto Tsutaya Bookstore, showcasing original illustrations.
