Shinya Miyamoto, Takashi Toritani Radio station J-WAVE (81.3FM) will be broadcasting the special program “REGNO THE GREAT” on Monday, October 13th from 18:00 to 19:55. “HISTORY” (hosted by nico) will be aired. This program features two legendary players in the world of professional baseball: Shinnosuke Miyamoto and Kei Torigoe. Based on the theme of “What kind of history did the people who have built great history have?”, the guests will discuss everything from the origins of their baseball careers to their glories and setbacks as professionals, and their futures, all from a car equipped with Bridgestone’s flagship tire, “REGNO.” A driving talk tracing the “GREAT HISTORY” of two people The program is divided into seven themes titled “ROAD.” Looking back on the 2025 season, including this season’s Hanshin Tigers and Tokyo Yakult Swallows, we discuss expectations for next year’s WBC and players to watch. The two also talk about how amazing Shohei Ohtani was, who once again showed outstanding performance this year. Furthermore, they talk about their memories of their school days and how they first got into baseball, as well as the players they admired, memorable encounters with coaches during their professional careers, and games that were turning points… We’ll trace the lives of the two men step by step. In the middle part of the series, how did they deal with adversity and overcome setbacks?
