It’s right in the heart of Shibuya. The venue faces Organ Hill. Surrounded by famous places like Hands Shibuya, there’s a place where calligraphy spreads out. You’ll be shocked by this culture, a source of pride for Japan. While creating such a world, we will exhibit and sell calligraphy works by 14 contemporary calligraphers under the theme of “Shibuya vs. Calligraphy,” as well as host live performances, workshops, talk shows, and more. Set in Shibuya, calligraphers will use calligraphy to question your understanding of Shibuya culture and its values, creating a new vision for it. Come experience the art of calligraphy. This is a participatory installation that transforms calligraphy into a three-dimensional form that visitors can assemble and expand on the spot.
